The LA Times is reporting that Wayne Allwine, the voice of Mickey Mouse since 1976, has died due to complications from diabetes.
He is survived by his wife Russi Taylor who, amazingly, was the voice of Minnie Mouse since 1986. She also appears as a number of other Disney characters, notably Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby in DuckTales, Clara Cluck in Mickey's Boo To You Halloween Parade, and Martin Prince in The Simpsons.
Allwine is also known for his work in the films "Splash" and "Three Men and a Baby."
